What is it?

The Ed100 Graduate Certificate is a recognition awarded to participants who complete all the lessons and quizzes on Ed100.org, a free learning platform focused on understanding the California education system.

Purpose of the Ed100 Graduate Certificate

The certificate is designed to:

  1. Celebrate Completion: Recognize participants' achievement in gaining a comprehensive understanding of how California's education system works.
  2. Encourage Leadership: Inspire participants to apply their knowledge in roles such as school site council members, PTA leaders, school board candidates, or other education advocacy positions.
  3. Promote Education Advocacy: Equip graduates with the tools and knowledge to influence thoughtful decision-making centered on the needs of children.
  4. Build community: Ed100 can be used individually, but it’s even more powerful when used as a study guide for a group.
  5. Support higher education: Future teachers need to understand the system they work in. Ed100 explains it, from early education to teacher pensions.
